Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't written anything for awhile, it's been way to crazy around here! Last weekend I went to Dublin, which was AMAZING! I loved it! We got there Friday afternoon and didn't leave until Monday morning, so we got plenty of time to explore :) It was kind of a culture shock going from Italy to Ireland because it's a lot like the US. It was kind of weird hearing everyone speak English and being able to read all the signs and everything. It was also really weird seeing everyone drive on the left side of the road! When you are crossing the street you have to remember to look the opposite way! :) It was really cold all weekend, but it only rained a little bit. And Sunday we had clear skies and it was gorgeous out, which worked out perfectly because we went on a guided tour outside of Dublin that day. The tour was great! We took a bus with a great Irish tour guide, who was really nice (he even taught us some Irish songs!) and there were only 10 or so people on the tour. First we went to the Hill of Tara, which is this HUGE grassy field, which Ireland is known for. There was a church on the top of the hill and there were sheep wandering around everywhere, which was fun. Next we went to Trim Castle, which is where they filmed the movie Braveheart. I loved the castle! It was a lot different then the castles in Italy, but it was beautiful! I loved all the green grass and the moat around it! For lunch we got went to one of the oldest pubs in Ireland, called Man O War. It dates back to the 1500's! It was nice to eat food that was not Italian :) I had some traditional Irish stew, which was delicious! After lunch we got to drive along the Irish coast and then we stopped and took some pictures. The sun was setting, so it was really pretty! It was amazing how early the sun set since we were so far up north! The sun also didn't come up until almost 8 AM, so there wasn't much daylight!
Well, that's all I have time for today, I have to pack because I'm off to Barcelona in a couple of hours. I will put up pictures and write a lot more next week when I get back! Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Dude did you do one of the Wild Wicklow tours? Or have a tour guide named Steven? Because if so that would be really funny!
